Professor Bani Tamraz, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, UCSF will present recent clinical evidence in support of PGx guided dosing of 4 commonly used medications in Hong Kong Chinese at the webinar.
Learning objectives of the webinar:
1. Describe the prevalence of actionable PGx variants among Hong Kong Chinese and their potential clinical impact.
2. Discuss the most recent clinical evidence in support of PGx guided dosing of 4 commonly used medications in Hong Kong Chinese: tacrolimus, simvastatin, escitalopram, and clopidogrel.
3. Describe the clinical recommendation for tacrolimus, simvastatin, escitalopram, and clopidogrel given the availability of the appropriate genetic information.
4. Describe the potential risks and benefits of guided dosing of tacrolimus, simvastatin, escitalopram, and clopidogrel.
