Mr Da LIU, the author of\u00a0 \u201cLessons for Investment in Biotech Companies\u201d,\u00a0 will share his insight of investing in Biotech companies to HKAPI members on February 17, 2022.<\/p>\n
Mr Liu is the Managing Director of CR (China Resource) \u2013 CP Life Science Fund, leading the company\u2019s investments in life sciences companies globally, especially those in emerging sectors such as RNA therapeutics and cancer screening.\u00a0\u00a0 He is a Board member of 5 life sciences companies including MiRXES, RNAimmune; EyeYon, Belkin Laser and Sirnaomics.\u00a0 He is also a Board member of the Hong Kong Biotech Development Council of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.<\/p>\n
Mr Liu is instrumental in bringing life sciences companies to go public in both Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq. Some of the listed companies that Mr Liu brought to IPO include Legend Biotech, Genor Biopharma, JW Therapeutics, and New Horizon Health.<\/p>\n
He is a graduate of Pharmacy at St. John\u2019s University and holds an MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management.<\/p>\n
