Dr. Maggie Lo , Vice President (Life and Health Technology) at OASES, articulated Hong Kong’s unique role as an international hub for health and medical innovation. Her insights highlighted the strategic advantages that position our city as a key player in the global health landscape.
Attendees also learned about the latest developments at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park from Ms. Grace Lau of the Institute for Translational Research. She shed light on new opportunities for collaboration, emphasizing the park’s commitment to fostering innovation.
Ms. Anita Chau, Director of Ecosystem for the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited, presented the ambitious plans for enhancing cooperation between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Her discussion underscored the potential for synergy in driving technological advancements in the region.
Mr. Victor Yim, Head of Fintech at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, elaborated on how Cyberport supports healthtech companies. He emphasized the importance of fostering a vibrant ecosystem for innovation, which is essential for the growth of healthtech startups.
