HKAPI joined as Panelist at 3rd Asia Summit on Global Health Project Pitching Sessions
We are delighted to announce that our Senior Executive Director, Ms. Sabrina Chan, was invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to participate in the 3rd Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) as one of the panelists for the Project Pitching Sessions. The event was held on May 19, 2023, and was a great success.
As a panelist, Sabrina played an integral role in the pitching sessions. She took turns with other panelists to raise quick questions during the Q&A after each pitching session. Additionally, she scored each pitching independently based on innovation, business model, market potential, and team competency. The start-up with the highest accumulated score was awarded a certificate. Finally, Sabrina and the other panelists gave consolidated feedback after all the pitching sessions to summarize key observations and suggestions for the start-ups.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the HKTDC for inviting Sabrina to participate in this important event. We are proud that one of our own was chosen to participate in this prestigious event and represent the Hong Kong Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry. At the Hong Kong Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry, we remain committed to promoting innovation and collaboration in the healthcare sector, and events like the ASGH play an important role in achieving these goals.
The ASGH was an excellent platform for start-ups to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions to the healthcare challenges facing the region. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers,industry leaders, and investors, to discuss the latest trends and developments in the healthcare industry. The Project Pitching Sessions were a highlight of the event, providing a unique opportunity for start-ups to present their ideas to a panel of experts and receive valuable feedback and advice.
