The HKAPI held its online 53rd Annual General Meeting on March 24.
During the AGM, President Dr Daniel Thurley and Board members presented reports on work over the past year. The Association also unveiled its revamped web site as an interactive platform of knowledge exchange for members.
At the meeting, Ms. Dorine Leung, ex-General Manager of Novartis (HK) Limited, announced her resignation from the role of HKAPI Vice President with effect from today after the AGM. Dorine started serving as a Board member in 2018. During this time, she served and provided her invaluable leadership within different task forces. From 2018- 2020, she guided, motivated and directed the Open Access Task Force to develop the first HKAPI Patient Support Program e-platform – One Platform Directory.
The Board thanks Dorine for her dedication and the great job she had accomplished. We wish her all the very best in her future endeavors.
Meanwhile, we are pleased to announce that Ms Kara Cheung (Amgen) was duly elected by the Board as the new Vice President. Kara is the General Manager of Amgen and has been serving the industry as an HKAPI Board member since 2014. She was our Vice President and President respectively from 2017 to 2020.
