The HKAPI has conducted a research previously which aimed to support member companies and their collaborating partners implementing patient support programs through understanding the effectiveness of existing programs. To share findings from this research and to build a platform for stakeholders to exchange point of view, the HKAPI organized a sharing session for member companies and their collaborating partners on May 17, 2019. Representatives from 5 NGOs engaging in Patient Support Programs together with over 50 HKAPI members, gather together at the Patient Support Program survey result sharing session.
Through presentations, the Open Access taskforce briefed the attendees the results of the research, including common concerns of different stakeholders and FAQs about compliance. Representatives from NGOs shared their valuable insights with HKAPI members in the open discussion after the presentations. Ms Dorine Leung, Sponsor of the Open Access Taskforce, hoped the event marks the first step in building a collaboration platform for stakeholders to improve patient access through Patient Support Programs.
