HKAPI Celebrates 55th Annual Dinner -Innovate, Integrate & Impact

The Hong Kong Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (HKAPI) celebrated its 55th Annual Dinner on June 7th, 2023, under the theme of Innovate, Integrate & Impact. About 300 guests, including representatives from the Department of Health, Hospital Authority, Legislative Council, Government Departments, Patient Groups, and Academia, gathered to celebrate the reunion since 2019 COVID epidemic, and to share the achievement of the industry.

The Hon John KC LEE, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, sent a congratulatory message to the HKAPI, highlighting the industry's contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic and also its critical role in R&D eco-system of Hong Kong.
The HKAPI was honored to receive a congratulatory video from the Hon John KC LEE, The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, who thanked the HKAPI and the pharmaceutical industry for their contributions, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Chief Executive’s message highlighted the industry’s resilience, adaptability, and dedication to improving public health outcomes.

Mr. Raj Bhatti, President of HKAPI, then welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of innovation, integration, and impact in the pharmaceutical industry. This was followed by a speech from the honorable guest, Dr. Ronald Lam, Director of Health, who shared insights on the latest developments in healthcare and emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnership in driving progress.

Mr. Lawrence Wong, Vice-President of HKAPI, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the attendees for their participation and support to the HKAPI Annual Dinner 2023. His speech emphasized the industry’s commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for the people of Hong Kong and the importance of collaboration and partnership in achieving this goal.
