1st CEO Meeting 2022-2024
The 1st CEO Meeting of the Term (2022-24) was held online on 11 July 2022. More than 20 CEOs and directors from our member companies joined to meet the new HKAPI Board, and exchanged views on the future directions of the Association.
In his welcoming speech, Mr Raj Bhatti, President of the HKAPI, shared the strategy for 2022-2024 with our members, followed by an introduction of task force formation presented by Mr Lawrence Wong, Vice-President of HKAPI.
Board members then share with our members about the strategic objectives, priorities and detailed plans for the four task forces, namely the Primary Healthcare Task Force, the Partnering for Hong Kong Medical Advancement Task Force, the Patient Journey Navigation Task Force, as well as the GBA Task Force. Our members shared their feedback on the task force directions and discussed their areas of concern with the Board members.
In the next session, Mr Carvin Man, Board member and the sponsor of the Patient Journey Navigation Task Force, addressed members’ concerns regarding the revision of the HKAPI Code of Practice. He also shared the key learnings and next steps of the Association to support our members, including organizing a workshop with the Department of Health to enhance our members’ understanding of the relevant laws and regulations.
Last but not least, Ms Elaine Phillips, Board member and the sponsor of the Partnering for Hong Kong Medical Advancement Task Force, shared the communication plan for the term. She hosted an interactive session with members to understand their preference for effective communication channels with the Association.
