Macao Sharing Session
More than 60 representatives of member companies were guided through Macao’s drug advertising rules in a sharing session held at Hong Kong Arts Centre’ s theatre in Wan Chai on 11th December 2017.
Dr Carolina Ung, an instructor at the University of Macau’s Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences, explained the nuts and bolts of relevant drug advertising regulations by examining a number of real-world examples based on the pharmaceutical industry’s past dealings with Macao’s enforcement authorities.
Attendees were also updated on the implementation of the new outpatient dispensing (OPD) system in Macao and on the latest changes in the work environment by members of HKAPI’s Macao Taskforce. Mr Andrew Wong, the taskforce’s lead, reviewed the team’s major achievements over the past year and briefed company representatives on the plans for 2018.
