HKAPI Supports Health Day Event for Elderly
The HKAPI is delighted to announce our collaboration with the HKU LKS Faculty of Medicine’s Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, the Jockey Club PHARM+ Community Medication Service Network, the Sha Tin District Health Centre Express, and our Associate Member, Chinachem Group, to organize a health day event for the elderly residents of Golden Lion Garden.
In addition to educational sessions, the Sha Tin District Health Centre Express provided physical fitness tests for the residents, promoting the importance of physical activity and overall well-being. HKU pharmacists also conducted reviews of residents’ conditions and medication use, offering personalized advice on self-drug management, including correct drug usage, side effect management, and monitoring techniques.
HKAPI is proud to support this initiative, which aligns with our commitment to advancing primary healthcare development for the people of Hong Kong. We believe that effective primary healthcare requires collaboration among various stakeholders, and we are grateful to join hands with our healthcare partners to enhance health outcomes in our community.
